Amazon Prime Video has confirmed a 2026 release window for Invincible Season 4 along with an army of other details to look forward to now that Season 3 has wrapped up.

Warning! Spoilers for Invincible Season 3 follow.

Information about the animated superhero show’s forthcoming batch of episodes made its way to fans in a post from the official Invincible X/Twitter account.

It doubles down on plans to push forward with Season 4, and it looks like we’ll only have to wait around one year to see where Mark’s journey takes him following his battle with Conquest.

Although the Viltrumite war machine wasn’t able to bring an already damaged Earth to its knees, we now know that Invincible Season 4 will see its title hero preparing for a new threat: Grand Regent Thragg.

Today’s post confirms that the Viltrum ruler will not only play a part in the series' future but that he has already been cast, too. Although the Robert Kirkman project has pulled from The Walking Dead talent to fill out much of its cast in the past, there’s no word on who has been picked to play Thragg quite yet.

In the meanwhile lets watch an exclusive clip of Season 3’s Finale!

Conquest And Invincible

Thragg is a well-known component of the original comic run, but Invincible Season 4 will also head into new territory with some of its other familiar characters.

Watch the Galactic Emergency Trailer for Helldivers 2, a third-person action co-op online shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios. Players must report to their pods and save Super Earth from the true Illuminate invasion.

Damien Darkblood (played by the versatile Clancy Brown), for example, is one character confirmed to reappear with an original storyline when the show continues. Cecil banished the demon detective to Hell in Season 1, and based on a last-minute stinger in Season 3 that saw him speaking with a demon played by Bruce Campbell, we know he’ll be back.

Kirkman teased more of what’s in store for Damien Darkblood during an interview with Variety.

He said this upcoming new moment for the demon detective will tell a story that he originally wanted to share in the comics.

Final Verdict

“There’s a storyline from the comic that I never got around to doing,” he explained. “Every superhero story has some chapter where they go to hell and they fight the devil. It happens in DC and Marvel comics. It’s a big deal. I never got around to doing anything like that in Invincible. I kept getting sidetracked and there was never a good time. So it’s entirely possible that we may be doing something like that in the show, and that scene at the end of that episode is setting that up.”

Great

Invincible on Amazon Prime Video is great, thanks to its unique action and strong character-centric gravitas.

Great review! I completely agree about the hallway fight scene - it might be even better than the famous one from season 1 of the original series.

I actually preferred the church fight in episode 4, but they're all incredible!

I was skeptical about bringing Daredevil into the MCU proper, but they've done an amazing job maintaining the tone while making it feel connected. Great review!

Vincent D'Onofrio is just perfect as Kingpin. Every scene he's in is electric. I'm so glad they kept him for this series.
